Mr. Zhang Jinchuan is a professor at School of Energy Resources, China University of Geosciences. 

He is responsible for more than 10 research tasks of National Natural Science Funded, State Special Research or Major National Basic Research. Expertise in the study of hydrocarbon accumulation evaluation and exploration etc. Researched in western China (Tarim, Turpan-Hami), central (Ordos, Sichuan), the eastern part of basin (Bohai Bay Basin, Northern Jiangsu Basin) and the south. He has made important progress on Source-contacting gas, shale and natural gas accumulation mechanism. 

Published 60 research papers, has received many Department of Geology and Mineral Technology Achievement Award and others.
